Foundations for Success

For students to truly succeed, they need to take ownership of their education and behavior. Waterford’s competent, caring, compassionate educators and administrators provide the support children need to reach their full potential. Waterford meets the needs of all students by identifying both strengths and weaknesses as early as possible. District-wide programs such as Elkhart County Special Education Cooperative (ECSEC), High Ability Program, and English Language Learners (ELL) mean that Waterford students learn the skills and tools that will best help them succeed.

Fourth grade students reinforce their knowledge of area and perimeter with some fun, hands on work during Success time.

You are invited to be an active participant at Waterford School. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTO, special event participation, or member of one of our school communities, you are encouraged to be involved! Research on schools clearly demonstrates that parent participation in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success for their child. Some of the ways you can get involved are listed below. For more information about these and other Waterford events, check out our Get Involved page!
