Academics & Programs

Waterford students experience academic and social learning. Curriculum is anchored to the essential learnings of all content areas (language arts, math, science, and social studies) and allows for balanced and enriching activities that build intellect, foster curiosity and demonstrate mastery. As with all Goshen Community Schools, Waterford emphasizes literacy and math and provides additional programs that help students succeed.

Math Framework

Math Trailblazers, our math framework, helps students develop powerful ways of reasoning and thinking about mathematics while learning the algorithms.

Literacy Framework

Literacy Collaborative is our language arts framework and consists of language and word study, reading workshop, and writing workshop. There are a number of teaching and learning structures and curriculum components for each. Each student is met at their level and receives instruction in individual, small group, and large group settings.
